All-New BMW M3 To Launch In India This Year
Big news at the Detroit motor show was the public debut of the BMW M3 and M4. The Malaysian launch of the BMW M3 is on this Friday, and there was plenty of excitement when the car was spotted at a dealership in Malaysia. The new M3 will be launched in India this year.
The new generation M3 uses a newly developed twin-turbo, 3.0-litre, inline six-cylinder engine to power the car. The engine puts out 431 bhp and a peak torque of 550 Nm. All this power is mated to a dual clutch, 6-speed manual transmission or to a 7-speed automatic.
With the 7-speed automatic, the M3 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just over 4 seconds and is capable of a top speed restricted to 250km/h. The top speed can be increased to 280 km/h as a performance boost if the owner wants.

The new M3 is lighter as well, thanks to the Carbon-fibre Reinforced Polymer (CRP) roof. The new M3 also features larger attention-grabbing air intakes, to cool the engine and brakes. The interior gets refreshed too with the M badge on the seats, doors and gauges and also gets a fatter steering wheel.
With all these desirable details and especially the power packed engine, this could very well be an exclusive car which can combine everyday usage with outright performance. The "M" in M3 stands for ‘Motorsport' and is assured to give you an adrenaline rush with the very thought of it, let alone a fast drive.
