Tata Nano, India's Most Trusted Car Brand
Now the Tata Nano has got a huge boost to its brand image after The Brand Trust Report, India Study 2013 named it India's most trusted four wheeler brand, much ahead of market leader Maruti Suzuki. Trust Research Advisory conducts an annual brand trust study where it assesses the brand value of individual products and companies.
Trust Research Advisory conducted this year's study in 16 Indian cities and monitored 19,000 individual brands from various domains.
The Tata Nano being named as India's most trusted four wheeler brand could not have come at a better time. Tata Motors has revised its marketing strategy and no longer sells it as the world's cheapest car. With the imminent launch of the CNG and diesel variants, the Nano is bound to find more buyers.
Tata Motors is also developing a more powerful 800cc version of the Nano which could be unveiled in the next few months.
The most trusted automobile brand in India is German premium brand BMW. It has gained five ranks from its previous year's rankings. Two wheeler major Bajaj Auto found itself in eighth spot in this year's ranking after having dropped one spot.
All the top three ranked brands were electronic gadget manufacturers.
