Renault/Dacia Duster Facelift At Frankfurt?
Dacia/Renault Duster has outperformed any other Renault model this year, and we are not talking about India sales, but overall. However, its now been in the market for a long time without receiving any form of upgrade. While in Europe a facelift for the Duster is not any more important than it would normally be, the case is quite different in India. We don't need to tell you why.
A French daily, la tribune, has now reported that Renault has under its belt, an extensive facelift for the Duster ready. This thoroughly refreshed Duster is expected to be premiered in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show. Meanwhile, spyshots of test models have also been spotted more than once on the net.
According to the report, the new Duster will be revealed bearing a totally new face, along with a few notable changes to the rear end. The changes will not be limited to the exterior. The interior will get a brand new dashboard, better electronics such as a touch screen display, higher quality upholstery and lots more. Few of these upgrades may not make it to India, but all the important ones can be expected.

Renault will most likely base the facelift on the Duster DCross Concept, seen here.

la tribune figures the pricing for the Duster facelift in France will be kept intact. The same will apply to other markets as well.
