Smart Race Edition Created By Carlsson
Tata Nano might be a lot of things, convenient for the city, light and zippy, easy to park and all the others things that one could associate with micro car such as itself. But sporty and fast is one thing it is not and perhaps will never be.
Nevertheless,
have
you
ever
wondered
how
the
Nano
might
look
if
it
were
to
be
turned
into
a
sports
car?
Unfortunately,
no
one
has
yet
taken
up
that
challenge.
However,
there
is
one
other
car
that
comes
closest
to
a
sporty
version
of
Tata
Nano.
This
particular
Smart
ForTwo
micro
car.
Take
a
look
in
the
gallery
below.
This here is the humble Smart ForTwo, a two door micro car meant only for city driving, much like the Nano.
This is not a Smart as you can clearly see, but a Mercedes-Benz SLK 340, but with modifications done by German tuning company Carlsson.
By combining the Merc SLK by Carlsson with the Smart you get Race Edition Smart, which is the car we are talking about.
The Race Edition Smart by Carlsson comes complete with a body kit, LED daytime running lights, 17 inch alloy wheels and racing livery.
On the inside the Race Edition Smart sports premium leather upholstery and racing seats.
Lastly, the micro car has been kitted with sporty suspensions and Carlsson CK10 performance kit, which means it now has a 112 HP engine delivering 158 Nm of torque. 100 km/h is reached in 9.9 seconds, while the top speed reached achievable is 155 km/h. Does this inspire you to turn our own Nano into India's first mini sportscar?
