New Skoda Octavia Gets 1000 Bookings In 20 Days
With the return of the Skoda Octavia the brand in India is reliving its hay days from the early 2000s when the sedan was a popular car amongst car buyers in the country.
Launched on October 3rd Skoda India has already received more than 1000 bookings for the new Octavia model. This includes bookings made through Skoda's online platform. The new Octavia takes the place of the previous generation model, which is sold as the Laura. In doing so the new car has brought back the charm of the old vehicle and also seems to have reinstated the loyalties of old Skoda customers.
The new Skoda Octavia is the first vehicle in India that is built on the advanced VW MQB platform and to carry the new Skoda design philosophy. The 3rd gen Octavia sedan is available in 3 engine options - 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TDI.
