Mahindra Vehicles To Be Gifted By Government To Nepal
November 19, 2013 will be an extremely important day for everyone in Nepal as the Constitutional Assembly elections are to be held in the country. As a gesture of support and token of goodwill Government of India has taken the decision to gift 630 Mahindra vehicles to Nepal.
The 630 Mahindra vehicles, most of which are expected to be Scorpio and Bolero SUVs will be handed over to Nepal's Election Commission and its Home Ministry. The vehicles will be used by Security Forces, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and as part of the convoy.

The vehicles will be provided Agni Incorporated Pvt. Ltd, Mahindra's authorized distributors in Nepal. Agni has been selling Mahindra vehicles in Nepal since 1991 and has an extensive network comprising 22 dealers and branches across the country.

We are extremely proud that Mahindra vehicles would be part of this most important event in our country, the Constituent Assembly elections. It is a national honor for both countries, as well as Mahindra and Agni." The supply of over 630 vehicles will further strengthen the Mahindra brand in the marketplace, and help make the election process more robust, providing a pillar of support to the nation." added Shrestha.
