Lamborghini Confirms $4.4 Million Veneno Roadster

Move over rumors and speculations about the open top version of the Veneno hypercar. It is now confirmed. Lamborghini will build a top less version of one of its most outrageous cars ever, as confirmed by CEO Stephan Winkelmann in an exclusive interview with CarandDriver.

While only 3 Veneno hypercars with a solid roof were ever built, Lamborghini Veneno Roadster as it will be called, will be slightly less exclusive. Reportedly, Veneno Roadster will "triple that number".

However, the Veneno sans the roof will be even more expensive, with a price tag of a cool €3.3 million or about $4.4 million, which happens to be an exact 10 percent premium over the Veneno with the roof. But price is never an issue for those who can afford to buy it.

The Veneno hypercar was revealed by Lamborghini at the Geneva Motor Show. The hypercar is actually an Aventador underneath the many layers of wings and air vents and so will be the Veneno Roadster.

And one last thing. The report states, Lamborghini may never actually show the Veneno Roadster in public. Never at all, unless you happen to be at a racing circuit where the unknown future owner of the car might be driving it. We say that's jolly rude of Lamborghini.
