Ford EcoSport Euro NCAP Crash Test Results Released
Euro NCAP (New Car Assessment Program), the European organization that tests preventive safety features and crashworthiness of new vehicles has released its results for the new Ford EcoSport. The India built compact SUV has scored 4 stars out of 5.
That's a good score, but here's what prevented the EcoSport from getting the top scores and losing out on one star.

As you can see, The EcoSport has scored quite high in safety of adult occupants, but has performed dismally in pedestrian safety and has also not scored high on safety assist.

Euro NCAP crash tested a Ford EcoSport with Electronic Stability Control (ECS), which is a standard feature in European spec EcoSport. However, the Indian spec vehicle only gets ECS in the automatic variant.
