Ashok Leyland Stile MPV Headed For July 16 Launch
[Update: Ashok Leyland Stile MPV Launched] Revealed at the Delhi Auto Expo last year, the Stile will be Ashok Leyland's first foray into the passenger vehicle segment. Going by several reports the Chennai based company will launch the Stile MPV on July 16.
AL Stile is actually a rebadged Nissan Evalia, which is the product of the Nissan-Ashok Leyland joint venture. The JV is expected to result in several lightweight commercial and passenger vehicles in the near future.
Since Nissan prefers its Evalia MPV to be looked at as a passenger MPV for the family, competing against the Ertiga and Enjoy, AL will market its Stile as a low cost passenger vehicle to be operated by private operators.
