The Etios Motor Racing Program has brought forward India's top 25 young racing drivers who were selected from 800 candidates. The young talented group was put under a four-day training session, which was conducted by Indian racing drivers and experts from TRD.
The Etios Motor Racing Program is a one make championship platform for India, which is fully supported by Toyota Racing Development (TRD) engineering department. The TRD engineering department will be closely associated with the racing program, by providing parts for the cars and technical expertise. The second exhibition race, will be flagged-off in the first week of October 2012, at the Buddh International Circuit.
For the moment, this a great initiative from Toyota to promote their Etios brand, as well as encourage motorsports among the youth in India. In the coming days, it is believed that Toyota would team up with Red Rooster Racing and rally champion LeelaKrishnan.
