Tata Nano Special Edition Available Across India
Tata Motors launched the special edition Nano couple of weeks ago to attract buyers during the festive season. The Special Tata Nano is available only in the mid level CX and top end LX variants. The special edition Nano's price is same as the regular models.
The Special Edition Tata Nano was initially available only in select cities but Tata Motors has stated that the latest version will now be available across India. Even people from small towns can have look at the Special Edition Nano and get the added features worth close to Rs.25,000 for free.
Tata Motors has added new features such as alloy wheels, new Music System with CD/AUX/MP3 support, door mounted speakers and twin glow boxes on the dashboard in the mid level CX variant.
Buyers of the Special Edition Tata Nano's top end LX variant will also get body graphics on the car's side flanks. These body graphics are not very attractive and many buyers will prefer to have the mid level CX variant itself.
The Special Edition Tata Nano will be available for a limited period only. If you want to add these extra features in a regular Nano, you will have to spend at least Rs.25,000 later. So hurry up!
Tata Motor is also offering the regular Nano without the extra features to buyers. Buyers will get a cash discount of Rs.25,000. So if you could live without the alloy wheels, music system and body graphics, you can enjoy the discount.
Tata Motors has not made any changes to the Nano's technical features. It is powered by a 650cc petrol engine that can deliver a peak power of 37PS. The Nano's claimed mileage is 25kmpl.
The Tata Nano will soon run on two more fuels. Tata Motors has confirmed the launch of the Nano's CNG powered variants in the first half of 2013 and diesel variants are expected to launch during the later half of next year.
