Maruti Suzuki has launched the limited edition of their small car, A-Star. Named as the A-Star Atkiv, the new limited edition car sports several new features.

Powered by state-of-the-art, light weight, 998cc K10B petrol engine, A-star offers fuel-efficiency of 19 kilometers per litre as tested by ARAI, Pune. Incidentally, A-star was the first model in the Maruti Suzuki stable to have the K-series engine. The K series engine offers power of 67ps @ 6200 rpm and torque of 90Nm @ 3500 rpm. The flat torque curve is useful to negotiate the stop-go city traffic conditions with ease.
