Mahindra First Choice To Boost Service Network

Mahindra First Choice
Mahindra First Choice Service, the multi-brand car workshop network is planning to open as many as 350 new outlets across the country. The wholly owned subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra will be investing Rs.250 crores as part of its network expansion.

Mahindra First Choice has several service centres across major Indian cities. It offers comprehensive service to all branded cars and also handles used car sales. It recently opened its second service centre in Hyderabad where the company's president (Group HR & Corporate Services) Mr Rajeev Dubey spoke with the media.

Mr Dubey said the car service market in the country was worth Rs.20,000 crore and was growing steadily. He stated there was a need to provide services like maintenance, sales and insurance under one roof which will help save the time and money of the costumer.

Mahindra First Choice currently has about 150 outlets in the country. By adding 350 more outlets, the company will have as many as 500 service centres. Such a huge expansion requires equally huge investment. The company is reportedly planning for an IPO in 2015 to fund its expansion.
