It Could Be The End Of Road For Hyundai Santro
Meanwhile, another small car from Hyundai which it launched in 2011 - Eon has been faring well for the company by gaining good sales volumes in the company. Currently, the Eon stands in one of the five top selling cars in India.
Coming back to the Santro, also considering the fact that sales have been coming down for the once popular car, it is highly likely that the Santro could be replaced by the Eon. While the Eon is priced between Rs 3.28 lakhs to Rs 4.48 lakhs, the Santro is available with a price tag between Rs 3.48 lakhs to Rs 4.63 lakhs.
Currently, the Santro comes with petrol, LPG and CNG option, meanwhile, the Eon is available only with petrol and LPG engine options. However, there has been no word from Hyundai on when they will discontinue the production of Santro.
