General Motor's next big launch for the Indian shore, comes in the form of the Chevrolet Sail UVA hatchback. If you are looking out for a hatchback from Chevrolet, do check out the Sail UVA which will be launched next month in India.

Here are a few images of the Chevrolet Sail UVA from the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo. This new hatchback from Chevrolet will replace the existing model Aveo. The Sail UVA hatchback is a joint venture development between between GM and Chinese manufacturer SAIC.

The Chevrolet Sail hatchback will be offered in petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.2-litre all aluminum engine. The diesel variant is powered by the 1.3-litre MJD engine diesel engine.

The Chevrolet Sail front end has the typical Chevy look. A bold front grille and wrap around headlamps are some of the stand-out features.

The Chevy Sail UVA will be offered with a 5 speed gearbox for both petrol and diesel variants. The top-end versions of the sail will come equipped withABS and dual airbags.

Drivespark Thinks: The Sail UVA will go about its business. However major competitors have nothing much to worry about. The design for sure does not have that oomph factor, its just pleasant.
