GM Blames Fuel Prices For Poor Feb Performance
GM India had sold 9,303 vehicles I February 2011. The company in its statement has blamed the sluggish car market along with high interest rates and fuel prices for its sales decline.

General Motors has one brand in India – Chevrolet. The Chevrolet Beat continues to be its best selling model thanks to its diesel variant. Beat's total sales for February stood at 4,684 units. The Tavera MUV has emerge as Chevrolet's second best selling model with 1,964 sales. The Spark small car can only boast of 1,328 sales.
