Design
There is a whole lot of changes compared to the old Innova, starting with the swanky looking swept back LED projector headlamps. The front grille sports a new hexagonal grille featuring chrome slats.
The front fascia looks imposing and well designed to connect the headlamp with the grille. Lower on the bumper, the fog lamps are well placed and the turn indicator is smoothly finished along with the fog lamp.
On the rear of the New Innova Crysta has gone through changes with the boomerang-shaped tail lamps. On the side, the MPV looks very much the same except for new wheel arches and a 17-inch new alloy wheel.
The Old Innova sports a stunning front four slat grille accented in chrome. Here, the turn indicators are part of the headlamp and not along the fog lamps. The exterior of the old Innova is more rounded compared to the new Innova.
The side and rear profile of the MPV look is a lot like the minivan and this carried forward to the new Innova Crysta as well.

Verdict
The New Innova is indeed a move to the future of the MPV and has been given a lot of new features. This will take the new MPV to a new level playing field and competitors will need to work hard to offer a package which will outclass the MPV.
The Old Innova is still a great buy in terms of price and very good for commercial purpose and the economics of running a fleet of Innova's for your business interest.
The old MPV will be discontinued to make way for the new generations Innova so that it does not cut into the sales of the new vehicle.
