Design
The Suzuki Access 125 has the retro look and there have been changes to its headlamps which features chrome ring around the headlamp, and new turn indicators. The indicators are much larger compared to its previous version.

The Honda Activa 125 is more modern in its design structure, the turn indicators are well complemented with the chrome strip and the air dam. Overall the scooter design feels like the it is 'in-charge'.
The Mahindra Gusto 125 is much sharper in looks, the air-dam vent inserts are well thought out, provides an imposing looking scooter from Mahindra. This could be mainly to target the young people.

Engine Specifications & Gearbox
The Access 125 is powered by a single cylinder, 124cc, 4-stroke, petrol engine, which produces 8.6bhp at 7,000rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The engine is mated to CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox and fuel is provided through a carburettor.
Honda Activa 125 Images
The Activa 125 comes with 124.9cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke petrol engine, producing 8.6bhp at 6,500rpm and 10.12Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. This is mated to an automatic gearbox, Honda calls it the V-Matic.
As for the Gusto 124.6cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke petrol engine, which pushes out 8.5bhp at 7,000rpm and 10Nm of torque at 5,500rpm, this is mated to a CVT gearbox.

Features
The Access 125 features twin trip meter with service indicator, front pocket, mobile charger socket in front and dual luggage hooks.
The Activa 125 comes with digital meters, disc brake (optional), combi brake system, and telescopic front shock absorbers.
As for the Gusto 125 features height adjustable seat, remote flip-key, find me lamps, guide lamps, front kickstart lever, front storage, LED lamp withing the headlamp and exterior fuel cap.

Pricing
The Activa 125 and Gusto 125 come in two variants, the Activa Deluxe will sport the Disc brake and Alloy Wheels.
As for the Gusto 125, the VX will come with height adjustable seat, remote flip key, find-me lamps and guide lamp.

The Mahindra Gusto 125 with its features and pricing leads among the pack, however, the Honda Activa is a tried and tested model which is coveted by one and all in the country. The Access 125 scores in the design department with its retro looks and more of the bygone era and brings back the nostalgia of a scooter.
