Nissan is all set to unveil a new generation of concept cars at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. One of the interesting concepts will be a small electric hatchback, which may just showcase what the next-generation Nissan Leaf (electric car) could be about.
For now, only a dark silhouette-like image has been released by Nissan. We expect this concept car to feature autonomous driving technology as well.
The standout design elements from this image are the LED-skirted headlights, V-motion grille, and split C-pillar.
The new-generation Leaf is slated for launch during 2017 and is said to boost a long-range from the current 250km, to a potential of 400km.
This teaser from Nissan is an indication this concept will be revealed at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The race has surely begun in the Electric Vehicle (EV) segment for longer-range vehicles, autopilot technology and more. Stay tuned to DriveSpark as we keep a tab of this concept at the Tokyo Motor Show.
