2016 Paris Motor Show: Citroen Unveils Three New Cars On Home Turf
French carmaker Citroen celebrated at its home motor show by showing off three new cars to the world at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
The first car to make its global bow was the new Citroen C3 hatchback. The new C3 combines soft lines, flowing curves and striking colour schemes to appeal to to customers looking for a modern car with plenty of personalisation options.
At the front, there are ultra-slim daytime running lights which are , neatly integrated into the chrome badge along with chunky headlights. The foglights are mounted lower down on the bumper. The rear gets small LED tail-lights give extra depth to their design.
Engine options for the new C3 include a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine in three states of tune: 67bhp, 81bhp and 109bhp.
The 1.6-litre diesel engine is available with either 74bhp or 99bhp.
Citroen also unveiled the C3 WRC concept car which previews the French carmaker's entry for the 2017 World Rally Championship.
The C3 WRC concept sees most of the changes we expect to see in WRC for the 2017 season including the humongous rear wing and the enlarged wheel arches that cover the car's widened tracks.
The final car revealed on the show floor was the dramatic Citroen CXperience hybrid concept car which previews Citroen's future large family sedan.

The Cxperience is 4.85-metres but its roof only stands 1.37-metres above the ground. The car has a 3-metre long wheelbase and features short overhangs and sits on 22-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels.
The CXperience showcases the latest developments in Citroen's "Advanced Comfort" principles with an uncluttered, clean look to the dash which features touchscreen controls and a massive 19-inch widescreen display that dominates the dash.
