Indian Motorcycles launch the most affordable cruiser till date at 2015 EICMA in Milan. The motorcycle is called the 'Scout Sixty. Indian Scout Sixty bears a price tag of USD 9,299 or equivalent to Rs. 6.16 lakh in the Indian market.
Powering the Indian Scout Sixty is a 999.61cc, V-Twin, liquid-cooled engine. The engine is tuned to produce 78.05bhp and 88.8Nm of torque. Scout Sixty's engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox and a closed loop fuel injection system.
The Indian Scout Sixty will ride on Cast 16-inch front and rear wheels. Front suspension gets a 120mm telescopic fork and rear receives 76mm dual shocks. Braking force will be provided by a single 298mm rotor disc with two-piston caliper up front, while the rear gets the same disc with a single piston caliper.
Indian Motorcycles is providing the Scout Sixty in three colour options — Pearl White, Thunder Black, and Indian Red. Several parts will be painted black like the handlebar, headlight assembly, engine, and chassis.
2016 Scout Sixty goes on sale immediately in Europe and United States of America. This will be Indian Motorcycles latest entry level product for several markets and deliveries are expected to commence from early 2016 onwards.
