Ducati Unveils The Most Affordable Bike In Their Lineup — A 400cc Scrambler
Ducati at the 2015 EICMA* Motorcycle Show launched several new products. Out of the many, there was one that caught everybody's attention worldwide — the Scrambler Sixty2 (400cc).
Powering the new Scrambler Sixty2 is Ducati's 399cc, L-Twin cylinder with air-cooling. The engine delivers 40.49bhp and 34.6Nm of peak torque output. Ducati engineers have paired this engine to a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle will ride on 10-spoke light alloy wheels with Pirelli dual sports tyres. Up front will be an 18-inch alloy wheel while the rear gets a smaller 17-inch wheel. Both front and rear wheels get disc brakes, along with ABS as standard equipment.
Rear shock absorber on the Scrambler Sixty2 is sourced from Kayaba and can be adjusted for preload. The front gets a traditional Showa telescopic 41mm fork, which cannot be adjusted. Ducati has built the Scrambler Sixty2 around a tubular steel trellis frame with a steel tube swingarm.
Ducati's Scrambler Sixty2 is offered with a 14-litre fuel tank with a dedicated logo, round steel mirrors, round headlight with LED ring, LED tail light, LCD dashboard with changeable aluminium covers, black silencer, along with a high and wide handlebar.
