Rezvani Motors, the California based carmaker has grabbed all the headlines at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show thanks to its Beast Alpha sports car and its eye-catching sidewinder doors.

Rezvani's sidewinder doors pop outwards and slide forward which allows for easy access to those wanting to get in or out.

The Beast Alpha is 4,145mm long, 1,981mm wide and 1,105mm tall and has a 2,345mm long wheelbase.

Powering the Beast Alpha is a 2.4-litre turbocharged Honda engine that pushes out 500hp (493bhp). The engine sends its power to the rear wheels with the help of a 6-Speed manual gearbox (a sequential shifting automatic is available as an option).

The Beast Alpha sports car will sprint from 0-100km/h in around 3.2 seconds but no top speed has been confirmed by the manufacturer.

The Rezvani Beast Alpha sits on an aluminium chassis based on a Lotus and weighs in at just 884 kilograms thanks to carbon-fibre body panels.

Rezvani is working on a 700hp version of the beast which the company claims will sprint to 100km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
