Honda unveiled the Civic Coupe for the American market at the LA Auto Show, yesterday.
Based on the Civic Concept shown at the New York International Auto Show, the coupe looks quite different from its hatchback and sedan siblings. It features a bold grille with quite a liberal dose of chrome thrown in. The headlamps feature Daytime Running LED's as well. The roof lines curve down on to the boot where the rather distinct tail lamps take centre stage.
The Civic Coupe will feature two engine options when it starts arriving in showrooms in March 2016. The base variant will be powered by a 2-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC engine producing 158bhp, while the more powerful 174bhp variant will have a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-pot.
The Civic features soft touch plastic inside. An android-based touchscreen infotainment system and climate control come as standard.
