2017 Geneva Motor Show: Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet Revealed
The production of the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is limited to only 99 units.
Mercedes-Benz showcased the world's most expensive SUV at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet. The SUV is as big as the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6, and it is the first off-roader from the Mercedes-Maybach sub-brand.
The production of the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is limited to only 99 units. The SUV gets a V12 engine, portal axles, electric fabric top and exclusive equipment. The portal axles provide a ground clearance of 450 millimeters.
The SUV rolls on 22-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels shod with 325/55 R 22 tyres. It also features 100 percent differentials and a low off-road ratio transfer box. To conquer the rugged terrain, the SUV is positioned almost half a meter above the ground.
Inside, the driver and front passenger get a hardtop while the rear passengers can go topless at the push of a button. There is also an electric glass partition which separated the front and rear sections (similar to ones that we can find in a limousine). The glass can be changed from transparent to opaque.
The rear passengers will get a business console with thermal cup holders between the seats. The massaging seats feature two-tone design upholstery with diamond stitching and are available in four trim colours.
