2017 Geneva Motor Show: Kahn Design Vengeance Volante Revealed
Kahn Design is showcasing the Aston Martin Vengeance Volante convertible at the 2017 Geneva motor Show. Read on for more.
After the successful launch of the Vengeance at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Kahn Design will debut a new convertible variant, called the Vengeance Volante at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
The Vengeance Volante is built on the Aston Martin bonded aluminium and composite VH platform, chosen for its strength and torsional resistance. The platform is manufactured in the UK.
The Vengeance Volante's sleek curves are inspired from classic Aston Martin designs. The roof has been swapped for a cabriolet hood, while retaining the widened C-pillars and wings.
Bits such as the crosshair exhaust system and rear lighting, along with lightweight wheels improves the muscular proportions of the Aston Martin.
Afzal Kahn said, "Creating a convertible version of the Vengeance posed some challenges, given the unique coachbuilt nature of the vehicle, but we've overcome them in true British fashion."
"Following a detailed programme of testing, I'm delighted to be able to unveil the Vengeance Volante at this year's show, and I'm confident it will receive the same enthusiastic reception as the original model did in 2016."
The hardtop model of the Vengeance Volante will be made in limited numbers, and investors and collectors are invited to place orders early to avoid disappointment.
Inside, the black leather wrapped front and rear seats have been handcrafted by experts. The door tops and top inserts, along with the centre armrest are examples of British craftsmanship at its best.
