Triumph Motorcycles showcased an all-new and updated range of the Bonneville at the 2015 EICMA Motor Show. Now, the British two-wheeler manufacturer plans on showcasing the same range of products at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi.
2016 range of Triumph Bonneville consists of five motorcycles:
- Triumph Bonneville Street Twin
- Triumph Bonneville T120
- Triumph Bonneville T120 Black
- Triumph Bonneville Thruxton
- Triumph Bonneville Thruxton R
The entire 2016 range of Triumph Bonneville is new and does not make use of components from previous generation motorcycles. All motorcycles get a new and performance oriented engine. The design has been completely overhauled for a premium experience.
Street Twin will be the affordable offering within the 2016 range. Triumph will provide a 900cc parallel twin engine for its Street Twin motorcycle. The motorcycle is aimed at competing with Ducati's Scrambler model which is constantly growing in popularity.
The T120, T120 Black, Thruxton, and Thruxton R will be powered by a 1,200cc parallel twin engine. In terms of performance, the T120 and T120 Black model will focus on ease of driving. The Thruxton and Thruxton R model will receive performance oriented tuning for maximum riding pleasure.
On offer will also be over 470 customization options for Triumph's Bonneville range. Unfortunately, the pricing for 2016 range has not been revealed and an official price announcement is expected on February 18, 2016. Stay tuned for more updates and details of 2016 Auto Expo.
