X-Trail Goes Down The Hybrid Path For India Return
Nissan has brought back the X-trail SUV to India at the 2016 Auto Expo. The new X-trail is now a hybrid SUV.
Engine And Gearbox Specifications
The new X-trail is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that combines with a 32 kw electric motor to produce 142bhp and 200Nm of torque. The power is sent to the wheels through a CVT gearbox.
Design
Not much has changed about the X-trail with regards to design when compared with the old model. The new DRL cluster alongside the new headlights seem to be the only distinguishing features of the new X-Trail and the hybrid badge that proclaims the Greenpeace following nature of the new SUV.
