Nissan To Launch The New X-Trail At The 2016 Delhi Auto Expo
Nissan India will be launching the all-new X-Trail SUV at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. Previously, the plan was to introduce the new SUV by 2015-end. In 2015, Nissan did not launch any new product in the country and focussed only on dealership expansion.
Powering the new Nissan X-Trail is a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder, diesel engine. The engine is tuned to produce 127bhp and 320Nm of torque. For the Indian market, Nissan is most likely to equip the new X-Trail with a CVT gearbox and most likely will not offer a manual transmission.
Currently, Nissan is offering the X-Trail in several markets and India is most likely to receive the Euro-spec SUV, which secured a 5-Star EuroNCAP rating.
Regarding design, the new X-Trail will sport the family design front grille and LED Daytime running lights, which are positioned at an acute angle.
More details will be revealed during the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. Stay tuned to DriveSpark for all the updates regarding the 2016 Nissan X-Trail.
