Mercedes-Benz India Confirms Four Models For 2016 Auto Expo

Mercedes-Benz India has confirmed that four models will be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. Also, on display will be several of their existing products that are sold in India as well as in international markets.

Currently, Mercedes-Benz India offers the S-Class model in various avatars. Now, the German luxury carmaker plans on introducing the S-Class Cabriolet in the country. The model will be a four seater open-top luxury model for the Indian market.

To maintain its 'Winning' philosophy in India, Mercedes-Benz will be introducing the GLC SUV. Mercedes will introduce its mid-range SUV with both, petrol and diesel engine options. The GLC is currently sold as a second generation product in the international market.

For the 13th Auto Expo, the German luxury carmaker will be showcasing its Mercedes-Maybach S600 Guard. The vehicle is a secure vehicle for VIPs, who want to travel in luxury and be safe.

Finally, the last product on Mercedes-Benz's stand Auto Expo will be the most interesting. The Formula One winning car of Lewis Hamilton, the F1 W06 Hybrid race car will be on display. Mercedes AMG-Petronas has won the Formula One Championship two years in a row.

Mercedes-Benz plans to launch 12 new products in India during 2016. Recently, the first product of 2016 was launched by Mercedes India in the form of GLE450 AMG Coupe. The German luxury carmaker could launch a couple of products at the 2016 Auto Expo as well.
