Mercedes has unveiled the madcap G500 4x4 Squared at the 2016 Auto Expo.

Engine Capacity - 4-litres
Power - 416bhp@5250 – 5500rpm
Torque - 610 Nm@2250 – 4750rpm

The G500 4x4 Squared sends its power to all four wheels through a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

Suspension

The G500 4x4 Squared sits on a set of 22-inch wheels which are kept paired up with the help of portal axles. This insane combo means the new G500 4x4 Squared has a ground clearance of 450mm and can wade into upto 1000mm of water.

Design

The G500 4x4 Squared looks like any other Mercedes G-Wagen only quite a lot taller. It also has a loud personality that immediately grabs your attention, though that may have something to do with the Neon paint scheme of the show car.

Availability and Rivals

The G500 4x4 Squared started selling in Germany last December, however, there is no news about when it will come to india. If the SUV does come to India it will go head to head with the Range Rover.
