DSK Benelli Tornado 302 To Debut At 2016 Auto Expo
DSK Benelli will be present at the 2016 Auto Expo in all its glory with a huge line up of two-wheelers. Now the Italian-based manufacturer will debut its Tornado 302 in India. The Tornado 302 will be its very first fully-faired motorcycle for the Indian market.
Previously, Benelli had the Tornado 1130 as its very first fully-faired motorcycle, which was discontinued. It is almost a decade since the Italian manufacturer first launched its fully-faired bike. The Tornado 302 motorcycle is for new markets and will feature the latest technology.
The Tornado 302 will be powered by a 300cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Benelli engineers have tuned the engine to produce 35.51bhp, along with 27Nm of peak torque output. The Tornado 302 engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
DSK Benelli will be providing its Tornado 302 with dual petal disc upfront while rear wheel gets a single petal disc for efficient braking. Upfront, the fully-faired motorcycle gets an USD (UpSide Down) front forks and rear gets a centrally mounted mono shock.
So far, the launch date for DSK Benelli's Tornado 302 in India is not revealed. In India, the Tornado 302 will compete with the likes of Yamaha YZF-R3, Kawasaki Ninja 300, and KTM RC390. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to 2016 Auto Expo.
