Chevrolet Spin MPV Set For Indian Debut At 2016 Auto Expo
Chevrolet will be present at the 13th edition of the Auto Expo in Delhi. Previously, the American-based manufacturer promised the debut several new products at the 2016 Auto Expo. The automobile manufacturer will be introducing the all-new Spin MPV at the event.
Spin by Chevrolet has commenced testing on Indian roads. Unfortunately, no launch date is confirmed and is most likely to be introduced in India by early 2017. Chevrolet India will replace their slow selling Enjoy MPV, which is a premium and upmarket product compared to the Enjoy.
Under the hood of Spin MPV will be a 1.4-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine option. The diesel engine will produce 88.77bhp and the petrol engine will generate 102.57bhp. Both engines will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and will deliver power to the front wheels.
Chevrolet Spin will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Honda Mobilio, and Renault Lodgy. The Spin will be a seven seater vehicle by Chevrolet with three rows of seating options. Chevrolet is most likely to provide the seats with multiple folding options for maximum comfort and storage.
