Suzuki Display Grand Vitara At 2014 Auto Expo; Plans For India

Suzuki is one of India's trusted brands when it comes down to a four wheeler. The Japanese manufacturer has showcased a few products at the ongoing 2014 Auto Expo. Among their offerings was a Special Edition Grand Vitara.

The Grand Vitara is a compact SUV and Maruti Suzuki would love to join the action. At the 2014 Auto Expo the SUV has been revealed as a special edition, however the Japanese car manufacturer says it isn't coming to India for now.

This however leaves an open end, as it could in the near future. However, when could it come to India is not made evident. Looking at the current market trend, we believe it is best for Suzuki to get into the segment as soon as they can.

Grand Fascia of Suzuki's Grand Vitara

The front grill of the Grand Vitara is massive and gives the car a muscular look. Chrome accent around the grill adds a sense of premiumness to the package. The Led strips in place of the fog lamps give it a modern touch.

Rear Section Of The Grand Vitara

The car's rear is bulky and gives an overall big car look. The taillamps, though simple add an elegant and sophisticated look to the SUV.

Side View Of The Grand Vitara

The Suzuki Grand Vitara has big wheel arches to add proportion to the car. Chrome accent below the doors and on the handle, increase the upmarket feel of the car. The black plastic however, robs the car of it's show.

The interiors of the car look premium with leather trim on the dashboard. Other than that the instrument and gadgets within the car are sufficient and nothing to boast about. However, we would and most other would like the car without the yellow leather.

Features in Suzuki Grand Vitara

The car has decent entertainment options, including a touch display to control the entertainment. Video components for rear occupants. Sadly again though yellow leather, is not our cup of tea, be it a limited edition.
