Auto Expo 2014: Hyundai Santa Fe Launch Prices Announced

The all new 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe full size seven seater SUV has been launched at the Auto Expo. The updated Santa Fe is larger than the outgoing model, has a facelifted front end and gets a more refined engine.

The 2014 Santa Fe measures 4690mm long, 1880mm wide, 1690mm high. The wheelbase, measuring 2700mm, remains the same as the outgoing model.

Powering the new Hyundai Santa Fe is an improved 2.2 liter 4 cylinder common rail turbo diesel engine that produces 194 bhp at 3800 rpm and 435 Nm of torque between 1800-2500 rpm.

The new Santa Fe will be offered in a two wheel drive variant that will get a 6 speed manual as well as a 6 speed automatic transmission. The all wheel drive version will only be available with the automatic gearbox.

Hyundai assembles the new Santa Fe locally, at its Chennai facility.
