For years Honda has managed to reign supreme in the utility scooter space in India with its Activa. The metal bodied family scooter, with its spacious and comfortable footboard, broad seats and refined engine has become a household name.
Despite its popularity the current Activa is not without faults. The 110cc engine, though refined, does not offer the same power & torque as a 125cc Suzuki Access and the suspensions on the Activa are not telescopic, which has been one of the major grouches as the link suspension does not offer the same level of comfort.
Thus, to fill in the gap and to please the growing anti-Activa crowd Honda showcased the Activa 125 at the Auto Expo 2014.

The Activa 125 looks mostly like its smaller sibling, except for some visual changes upfront. These changes are the blacked out headlight crown and the chrome insert running between the indicator lamps.

You'll be pleased to know that the Activa 125 comes with telescopic fork suspension up front. While combi-brakes are standard, disc brakes will be provided as an optional feature.
